We are seasoned consultants who approach each engagement with rigour, clarity, and focus. We challenge assumptions where required, test them against risk and operational reality, and provide clear assessments - even when they are difficult. Our priority is outcomes, not consensus or optics.
We do not dilute findings or defer to prevailing opinion when evidence points elsewhere. The focus remains on practical, implementable solutions aligned to actual risk and constraints.
Our independence is fundamental to our work. We have no product partnerships, vendor relationships, or referral arrangements. Our recommendations are determined solely by your security requirements and business objectives, without external commercial influence.
Danie Liebenberg, our founder and principal, brings almost four decades of experience in physical security and risk management to every engagement.
His career spans law enforcement, investigations, public safety and emergency response, technology integration, corporate and industrial security, business management, and physical security consulting across Southern Africa.
This breadth of experience provides rare perspective on how crime evolves, what makes security effective, and where organisations are most exposed. Danie's core insight is that clients don't buy cameras or guards - they buy outcomes: business continuity, resilience, and confident risk governance. This understanding inspired the founding of Liebenberg & Associates in 2009 as an independent consultancy focused on strategic guidance and results that matter.

Engagements are led by Danie alongside specialist associates whose expertise grounds decisions in operational reality and guides implementation.
